Uni-Cot - Digit Tourniquet

Now Mar-Med would like to introduce a new member of the Tourni-Cot digit tourniquet family, the Uni-Cot. The next generation Uni-Cot has the same benefits of the Tourni-Cot; safety, easy application near instant hemostasis, but also provides additional benefits. It’s a one size fits all for fingers and toes, doesn’t need a tag to be conspicuous and is designed to stretch over wounds.
Primarily used in emergency medicine, hand surgery and podiatry involving lacerations, exploration of foreign bodies, nail injuries and many other elective procedures. To apply the Uni-Cot simply remove it from its sterile package and slide it on to the finger or toe blocking the digit if necessary. The Uni-Cot can be applied with one or two hands. It glides on smoothly with blood or betadine in the field. It can be stretched over significant wounds. Bright color and conspicuous appearance makes it almost impossible to forget on a digit. To remove simply cut the side of the Uni-Cot in order to disconnect it from the digit. The next generation Uni-Cot is great to have on hand at your facility.
